excerpt of a conversation i had with PopThePorzac (PTP)
me: i can't make the distinction of just sex and love
PTP: i did get the distinction ===
it's like, when you tell someone that they look good because you know that it makes them feel valued
when you recognize the value of nice words
or you tell someone that you love them because you know that it will give them that feeling of security and you want them to feel that way ---
its the same thing --- you want to have sex with someone because you want them to feel good
and not because you want to feel good. when being selfish is taken out of the equation
me: so, if i have sex with someone because i want them to feel good, its because i love them and if i have sex because i want to feel good, then its just great sex?
PTP: kinda makes sense eh?
PTP: the you feeling good while making someone feel good bit is a nice bonus
me: i guess i've never thought of it that way
PTP: that's why both parties need to feel the same way for it to work
PTP: i just realized it the other day
me: for me when i said i couldn't make that distinction was because to find yourself in that situation, naked and vulnerable, you can do that only with love. i can't just get naked with a random guy i'm not going to see again
