The past ... 120 ... hours...

I haven't been online since Saturday I think, I packed away the laptop in an attempt to organize myself for the trip home.
Saturday, I spent running around Rome looking for last minute bilins and pasalubongs. Saturday was busy. Sunday, I had to go to Mayra's house for a "surprise" brunch she arranged for me. I don't do well with surprises (or socializing for that matter), so she created her own guest list without telling me. Thats where the surprise comes in. I was retarded as usual, not even wanting to say hi to the guests (my other friends) due to shyness. Leo came along with me, to the relief of most of the people there who were strongly suspecting Leo as a non-existent person who I just make up when I leave gatherings early. In fact, the way I introduced him was,
"This is Leo, my boyfriend. As you can all see, he clearly exists and is not a figment of my imagination."
To which my lovely other half answered, "I honestly don't know this girl. She just hired me this morning."
:)
Bruch was fun, I got a chance to catch up with my other friends and exchange stories. They gave me a Tiffany & Co. necklace and I went home with Leo.
Monday, I woke up all excited. Leo had a gift for me. I don't want to spoil anything right now, I'll give it a seperate post, but all I could say is Wow, I was not expecting that as a gift. It totally blew me away.
We headed to the center and had dinner there, walked around Rome, which was very nice. We didn't stay out too much because my luggage was still not packed! We got home, packed and slept at oneish in the morning.
The trip to the airport the next day was doused in panic, at least from my side. I had to keep checking if I had all my documents and was praying that I wasn't over the 40kgs limit Singapore airways has. I was pissed I had taken a lot of useless stuff with me (kinda), mostly bilins and padala, but what can you do? In the end Iw as 37.2kgs but I also had a hand carry that was heavy like f**k!
Leo and I were very sad to leave each other and we were both emotional.
:(
The flight on Singapore airlines was approximately 11.30 hours - and I didn't even sleep at all on it. I couldn't. It wasn't comfortable. I entertained myself with watching movie, after movie after movie. I caught up on all the ones I missed. The Dark Knight, Wanted, Kung Fu Panda, Get Smart and even caught re runs of ones I did see, Mama Mia! Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Needless to say, I arrived in Singapore airport SHATTERED. Lacking sleep from the night before and doing a movie marathon on the plane, well, I was trying to keep myself from fainting on the stop. We arrived in Singapore at 6.30am of the next day.
The Singapore-Manila flight was from 9.45am arriving at 1.15 pm. I did a marathon of TV shows: CSI, House and Bones. I hardly ate on the plane as I felt the food they were serving wasn't my type. I wasn't bad or anything, but I just didn't feel like eating.
I was surprised to find a woman waiting for me near the immigration queue. Apparently, my dad had arranged this for me. She lead me to the shortest queue there was (special lane) and entrusted me to a young man, named, Justin to help assist me with my bags. Which was lucky because I wasn't sure if I was able to carry them but things seemed to have worked out. My mom came out of no where, wearing a VIP pass. After describing to Justin my luggage and handing over my check in tags, we headed to the VIP Room where Dad was waiting for me! They had done a surprise for me and I was very surprised! Without much food and lacking sleep, we headed over to the DFA to apply for my new passport. My dad facilitated everything for me (I'm really lucky!), we took the photos, I signed the paper and did thumb marks and that was it! We left at 4pm to pick up Ralph. I didn't have a drivers license but my mom wasn't comfortable letting my dad drive, so hungry, tired, sleepy and confused, I drove our Touran through the very messy roads of Roxas Blvd. We ate a bit at home and then headed to Duty Free. Everything was going there, although we compared prices today with pcx products and Duty Free is RIDICULOUSLY over priced. We got loads of chocolates though, additional pasalubong. I reasoned, by pushing myself to the absolute limit would ensure that I sleep heavily and a lot. We got home by 10ish and I slept around 11. What happened? I was awake by 6am this morning! No! grabe talaga.
Mom and I decided to go to the salon for me to have rebonding, manicure, foot scrub and pedicure. With hair like mine, we got in at 10am, we left at 4.30! We picked up Ralph from work, headed home for merienda of Pizza hut family sized super supreme (yum! sobrang missed ko sya! but i think the size is smaller) and out to town. After spending Php10k in one afternoon, we decided to call it a night and headed home. Limited lang yung budget ko, I don't have a whole lot of money, so I have to budget properly.
Since my drivers license expired, we're heading out to the LTO first thing tomorrow so I can start driving around (my mom is complaining that she's driving kasi!).
Still lacking sleep, and it being 1am here, I hope I can get to sleep more. I want to rest!
