I had become addicted to receiving attention from other people.
I spoke to Kari in New York while all of this was eating me up inside.
How I crave attention from people who aren't really worth my time and she said,
You need to learn self healing and self love....
because you will always crave someone else's attention.....
because valuing yourself and knowing your self worth
comes from within
you need to be ok with being you.
i had someone else tell me, you need to remember that you are important. please go see a good doctor / therapist to remind you about that.
so while i'm "hurt" that i'm not the center of the universe. that i'm not getting attention and that i have been replaced, i decided now is a great opportunity to start learning to love myself.

number 2 got to me:
Act on what you need rather than what you want. You love yourself when you can turn away from something that feels good and exciting to what you need to stay strong, centered, and moving forward in your life, instead. By staying focused on what you need, you turn away from automatic behavior patterns that get you into trouble, keep you stuck in the past, and lessen self-love.
even if i have my supportive friends and my restraining friends (people who tell me i'm just crazy) i've opted for positivity in my life.
strong, centered and moving forward.
i got this. if only just one day at a time.
